Group Therapy Options from Operation Rubix
At Operation Rubix, it is our mission to help veterans in need with mental healing. We pair our veterans with therapeutic services and counseling through both individual therapy sessions and group therapy sessions. To learn more about our group therapy sessions, continue reading.
Group therapy is an excellent option for veterans seeking mental health services and support from fellow vets. Through group therapy, veterans can express their concerns and feelings while receiving support from other group members. This area is one where veterans can feel safe and make friends in the process.
One option for veterans seeking group therapy services is the Goodwill BRAVE Program. The Benefits, Resources, and Veterans Education (BRAVE) Program is a group therapy network available to veterans and their families. The program is designed to help veterans and family members connect with others who are struggling with PTSD, mental health problems, substance abuse, and integration back into regular life.
The Goodwill BRAVE Program is hosted every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Goodwill Veterans Resource Center at 8490 Lockwood Ridge Road in Sarasota. Veterans and family members are encouraged to attend the event for free. Veterans and their loved ones can connect with others who are experiencing similar problems coping with post-war life through this group therapy event.
In addition to the group therapy Goodwill BRAVE Program, veterans can also seek support from Sarasota Rapid Resolution Therapy, services provided by Judith A. Sedgeman EDD, massage therapy by Leona, participate in Sarasota Adaptive Rowing, or visit Vivie Bishop for light therapy and life coaching.
