The Remedy Room

Jean-Luc Casano was born in Provence, South of France.
As a young boy he had an obversion to traditional medicine after witnessing illness in his family.
His natural instinct was to tap into his body's innate ability for self healing. Tapping into his own breath and rhythm to create a sense of serenity, balance.
Jean-Luc found his connection to energy work as a teenager practicing Aikido, a Japanese Martial Art. He soon discovered this practice combined with self healing was compatible. He shared this with family members to help alleviate pain and discomfort.

In 2000, Jean-Luc's journey continued to Rome,Italy where he studied traditional Chinese Medicine. Once again learning more about chi & applying these principles daily.

In 2010, Jean-Luc relocated to New York City to be with his wife Paula. This like minded couple created their own holistic life approach & began helping others.

Inspired to share his knowledge, Jean-Luc returned to school and received his certification in Reiki.
Currently Jean-Luc is an International Reiki Master & Teacher. His program expands from the U.S.A to Europe. Jean-Luc works with dialysis patients, autism, athletes and more. His most recent heartfelt program is helping Veterans with PTSD.

Paula Casano is a native New Yorker. Celebrating thirty six years in the beauty and wellness industry. She began studying aromatherapy when she was nineteen in France, incorporated meditation in her early twenty's and received her Certification in Reiki at the age of thirty. She owned and operated a holistic minded salon in NYC for ten years. Paula hosted wellness practitioners from around the world to expand her knowledge and share this with her loyal clientele. Her personal life experiences guided her to explore and deepen her connection to Bach  Flower Remedies. Her own powerful healing experience encouraged her passion to become certified in these incredible remedies, so she may help others. Fusing her practice of Reiki & Remedies together has a powerful positive impact on clients . Helping those suffering from PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, shock, trauma, mental/ physical exhaustion , life transition, stress and so much more. Bach Remedies are gentle and do not interact with or replace meditation .They are a natural additional support for your lifestyle and to your medical care.

Vivie Bishop - Light Therapy and Life Coaching

Vivie BishopVivie Bishop has been involved in the healing arts for thirty years. Through life coaching, her mission is to assist you to create emotional and physical well being in your life and a connection to something greater, thus moving from survival into thriving. Through her life experiences, she has lived this work to move into a life of joy and connection. Her past has given her the wisdom to help others, along with extensive training and mentoring.

Vivie uses EFT tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) to release traumas, grief, fears, phobias, and old patterns of looping thoughts that continue to bring up unwanted challenges from the past. EFT is an effective tool in combination with life coaching to step out of the past into a present/future of more joy and freedom. Through coaching, you learn to retrain the brain and in the rewiring of the brain, you learn to focus on what you want, not what you don’t want. You apply techniques to manage stress to become functional and create a new future with new possibilities.

In addition, Vivie gives medical light therapy sessions that are non-invasive and effective in PTSD cases, neuropathy, sleep issues, muscle/tendon issues, detoxing the tissues and organs, and more. The beauty of these sessions is that the body is jump-started to be empowered. Light therapy can be used by itself or in conjunction with life coaching. Medical light therapy has proven effectiveness in actually changing the brain, creating more blood flow and oxygen in it, assisting in better learning and memory abilities, and help with the PTSD and traumas endured by vets.

Give Vivie a call to discuss a plan of action tailored to your particular issues.

My company incorporates two modalities, Light Therapy and Life Coaching. Working together, we can establish what would be the best approach for your needs. We can use light therapy only, life coaching only, or a combination of both. It is an open system which allows for growth and change, moving organically as you come into wholeness.

In Light Medical systems emit pulsed wavelengths of light energy to sites and areas of chronic pain. This light therapy stimulates the release of nitric oxide and ATP in the body, creating a cascade of therapeutic benefits. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, having the ability to improve circulation which is the foundation of good health. It reduces inflammation, oxygenating the body and allowing it to regenerate tissue and new blood vessels. The system is a Type II Medical Device, FDA cleared for increasing circulation and decreasing pain.

It is used successfully for neuropathy, circulation issues, traumatic brain injury, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), sleep issues, wound healing, muscle and tendon issues, and more.

Cerescan, a spect imaging company, did research on how LED lights would affect brain injury. They did a small study with 12 veterans and the In Light system called The Invisible Brain Injury Project. The results were astounding. After only 6 hours of light sessions (3 - 20 minute sessions for 6 weeks), their symptoms went down and cognitive performance went up. In Subject 1 and 3 spect scan photos, the gray area represents healthy blood flow in the brain.
