Operation Rubix is dedicated to providing veterans and military members with mental healing. Our mission is to help veterans through their struggles with access to therapeutic services and counseling. Individual therapy and group therapy sessions are two ways we aim to help veterans. Learn more about group therapy options from Operation Rubix by reading on.
Group therapy is an excellent way for military members, their families, and veterans to receive mental health services, as well as support from their fellow service members. Group therapy helps individuals express their concerns and feelings, while also realizing that they are not alone in their feelings. Group therapy creates a safe place for veterans to share their feelings, while also making connections with others.
One of the group therapy services we can connect veterans to is the Goodwill BRAVE Program. BRAVE, or Benefits, Resources, and Veterans Education, is a group therapy network for veterans and their families. The program was created to help veterans and their families connect to others who are experiencing the same struggles, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), mental health problems, substance abuse, and integration back into regular life.
The Goodwill BRAVE Program takes place every Wednesday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program is located at the Goodwill Veterans Resource Center at 8490 Lockwood Ridge Road in Sarasota, Florida. The event is available for veterans and their family members free of cost.
