At Operation Rubix, we celebrate the men and women of the Armed Forces. Armed Forces Day is celebrated on the third Saturday in May. This year, Armed Forces Day takes place on May 18. The holiday was created by President Harry S. Truman as a way to pay tribute to the men and women who have served our nation.

The Goodwill Benefit, Resources, and Veterans Education program, also known as BRAVE, launched in 2016. Thanks to a partnership with the Women’s Resource Center of Manatee and Sarasota (WRC), the organization was able to provide free mental health care to local veterans one day a week. Now, with funding provided by SRQ VETS, The Goodwill BRAVE program is available to veterans on a daily basis.
